This Week in the Autonomy Economy, America celebrated 250 years of freedom and prosperity, while we uncovered Waymo and Uber’s divorce in Phoenix, just as we uncovered Waymo’s grand European Ambitions. Germany, France, Spain and now The Netherlands. Waymo clearly has grand European Ambitions.
As Waymo lays the groundwork for their grand European expansion, we will be covering it and analyzing the data, from on-the-ground field reports to corporate filings to press announcements.

Waymo’s Grand European Ambitions

Waymo has grand European ambitions, and to realize those ambitions, the company is quietly building the corporate infrastructure to scale a robotaxi business across the European continent.
The paper trail currently spans four countries, Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. We were the first to uncover Waymo's corporate business filings in France, Spain and now the Netherlands. It's been three days since we posted the details of Waymo's plans for France and Spain on X, yet no major international media outlet has picked up the story. Now, how long will it take for the international media to catch up?
It does not matter. We were ahead of every major international outlet, and being ahead of the market is something we pride ourselves on. Hence our AUTNMY AI tagline: Right now, somewhere, a company is making a move in plain sight. Most will not notice for months. We already have.
Perhaps U.S. media outlets took off for the 4th of July while international outlets enjoyed a long weekend. No matter the reason, the autonomy economy never stops moving, and we are always looking for signals in the market.
Sometimes those signals surface at the most inconvenient times, other times they show up at exactly the right one. No matter the time, our proprietary OMEGA intelligence model is always looking for the needle in the haystack.
This week, we uncovered that Waymo registered a French entity on June 23, 2026, with its declared business sector listed as urban and suburban passenger transport and its head office in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
In Spain, we uncovered that Waymo registered Waymo Iberia on June 9, 2026, in Madrid, with registration pending at the Registro Mercantil de Madrid. The name Iberia carries its own signal, a hint that Waymo may be planning to expand into Portugal as well.
Then in the Netherlands, we uncovered that Waymo registered Waymo Netherlands B.V. in Amsterdam on June 12, 2026, entered in the Dutch business register three days later, covering the following activities: retail sale of motor vehicles, service activities incidental to land transportation, other support activities for transportation, and computing infrastructure and data processing.
The Dutch filing also lists the sole shareholder of Waymo Netherlands B.V. as Waymo LLC, with the same directors named on Waymo's German filing, Waymo Germany GmbH in Munich. This is not a scattering of independent filings. This is a highly orchestrated European expansion.
Four entities, four European economies, all inside a few weeks in June. This is not a company with small ambitions. This is a company with grand European ambitions.
Our Take: Waymo’s grand European ambitions are merely just beginning.

Robotaxi is LIVE in Miami
On the same day Cape Verde nearly knocked Argentina out of the World Cup, Tesla launched Robotaxi in Miami, and we were there in the middle of the action. The service area covers parts of Doral and Coral Gables. The ride was smooth, but as we found out on the ground, there are only two vehicles currently operating, so the wait times were extremely long. Next week, we will be releasing a Field Report.
Our take: Two Robotaxis and three Cybercabs. That is what we counted. Is this a sign of things to come?
